Village Beach Riccione

Aquafan Riccione
The Big Aquafan Water Park opened on June 14th, 1987 at Riccione on the Romagna Riviera. As many as 90 km of piping and 500 km of electrical wiring were needed to build the park. Special machines were invented to reproduce true ocean waves in the swimming-pool. These give continuous movement to 8 thousand cubic meters of heated and filtered water using avant-garde technology to avoid any possible wastage.
Oltremare
The dolphin lagoon at the Oltremare Park in Riccione is the highlight and its stars are twelve friendly dolphins (including the champion Pelè:) which, like us, breathe with their lungs, give birth to their little ones and breastfeed them. They are all there to give us one of the most exciting and best-loved shows in the world, offering a combination of fun and environmental education, with a charming backdrop faithfully reproducing a rocky and jagged bay in Croatia.
IMAX
The IMAX Riccione is a 3D cinematographic experience where you can watch magnificent films in a unique kind of cinema.
Italy in Miniature
We all know how much care and attention is needed for our green areas, but a distinction has to be made between the two kinds. There is the normal kind we are used to seeing in our cities, towns and villages, and there is the other kind like the one found here in this Italy. The team in charge of these green areas is made up of more than 10 people (twice the number during the summer) headed by Marco Celli, an agrarian surveyor and expert. In this miniature Italy we must remember how small the overall scale is. For this reason, the upkeep of the green areas is done manually and not mechanically.
Fiabilandia
The Fiabilandia theme park... the oldest one of the area, is situated just a short way from the beach between Rimini and Riccione, in Rivazzurra di Rimini and is easily reached from the A14 motorway. It extends over an area of 150,000 sq.mt. and is surrounded by vegetation and tranquility. Visited by schoolchildren of all ages, for some years now it has become the ideal place to combine education and leisure, in that students find it highly stimulating in a very original way. It can be reached from the hotel either on foot or by bike!
The Rimini Dolphin Pool
The Dolphin Pool is in fact in Riccione and it is the oldest in Europe (opened in 1963) and, according to many experts in the field, can truly boast a highly entertaining show for tourists in Riccione and from all over Romagna. However, there is not only the show, but also the opportunity to visit the aquarium and some exhibition areas dedicated to marine life, including the reconstruction of a whale skeleton.
It is easily reached by bus in 20 minutes directly from the hotel.
Mirabilandia
The Fun Park is at Savio (a small locality near Ravenna) close to the Classe pinewood and beside the Adriatic provincial road. The park also gives its name to this area (Locality of Mirabilandia) which is legally recognized by the Municipality of Ravenna.
